epWare - Small Asset Manager
Virtual Power Plants with epWare Small Asset Manager (SAM)
epWare Small Asset Manager (SAM) connects decentralized renewable energy assets such as wind, solar and biomass plants into one swarm-based, virtual power plant. These virtual power plants can be controlled and marketed just like large conventional power stations. SAM puts the future of energy supply in your hands – today.
Marketing on Spot, Intraday and Balancing Energy Markets
SAM supports you in planning, optimizing and marketing your assets on the spot market, in intraday trading and on balancing energy markets. The schedules created in SAM are automatically mirrored to the individual plants and include both control energy specifications and shutdown signals.
Automated Compliance with Regulatory Requirements
SAM automatically checks whether the six-hour rule according to §24 EEG applies beyond daily limits and issues alerts if required. This ensures that regulatory requirements are consistently met without manual monitoring.
Automated Data Exchange and Forecast Integration
To enable accurate planning, SAM supports automated data exchange with your forecast and data providers. Current forecasts are forwarded to your planning and marketing systems, which in turn feed planned and actual values back into SAM. This creates a seamless, consistent data flow across all systems.
Analysis and Reporting with Open Interfaces
Through the open ODATA interface, all relevant data is directly available in Excel and Microsoft Power BI for easy and efficient analysis. The intuitive graphical user interface increases usability and simplifies day-to-day operations.
Plant Information and Billing Support
Plant information such as non-availabilities or performance restrictions can be entered directly in SAM or transferred from your customer portal via digital interfaces. In addition, SAM supports the provision of billing-relevant data, ensuring transparent and reliable settlement processes.
